The Science of Vaastu
The science of Vaastu is based on the fact that there are mainly two forces that are equal but opposite. As per cosmic ordain, these two forces interact with each other, which results in the production of a third force named “Bioforce” that is essential for existence of life. One force is fine and subtle, whereas the other is dense and dark. For easier understanding, these two forces are referred to as Positive and Negative forces respectively.
Continuous Interaction of Forces:
Vaastu is considered to be the continuous interaction of these natural forces. Construction of structures on the earth’s surface can hamper this interaction. Both the positive as well as negative forces make their way into the structures within which they continue this interaction. Hence, this can result in one of the forces dominating its presence within the structure. The science of Vaastu has been designed to ensure that the positive forces have stronger presence within the structure, thereby reducing the impact that the negative forces may cause on the inhabitants.
Benefits of Positive Forces:
If positive forces can dominate the negative ones within a structure, beneficial bio-energy is released for the inmates that help to keep them healthy. As per natural law, negative forces cannot be totally eliminated from any structure. But its effects can be minimized by the effective use of the scientific principles embedded in Vaastu Shastra. It is to be noted that if the Negative forces become dominant within any structure, it results in a weaker field of bio energy that could result in the occupants suffering from various diseases.
Role played by the Science in Vaastu:
Vaastu incorporates a set of rules, which if followed, provides positive atmosphere within any structure. The combined effect of nature and structures play a significant role in shaping the living and working conditions of the people. Vaastu, as a science, gives access to conceptual tools for creating a harmony between all the above three factors. This is because the science has been designed essentially for creating a harmonious relationship with natural environment.
Vaastu is a rational science:
A key aspect of Vaastu is to study the impact that the rays of the Sun have on our planet. The science is rational because it makes a thorough analysis of characteristics within a house and scientifically explains the effects of the same to its residents.
Vaastu is a permanent science:
Vaastu principles are direction based, which are in itself permanent in nature. Hence, Vaastu effects are also deemed to be permanent.
Vaastu is a beneficial science:
The core aim with which this science evolved thousands of years back was to provide happiness to people and reduce their problems. The science has still retained the same goal.
Vaastu is a universal science:
The universality of Vaastu can be derived from the fact that the science gets its basis from the properties of the Sun and the Earth, which are universal in nature. The science is not influenced by factors like religion, caste and nationality and gives equal importance to all.
Vaastu is a practical science:
The guidelines of this science are very simple to understand and follow. If residences are built based on its guidelines, Vaastu ensures happy and healthy life for the inhabitants. Vaastu incorporates within itself all these above mentioned features. It is also based on cause, effect and action. These factors help to easily draw the conclusion that Vaastu Shastra is a complete science.
