icon2Lord Ganesha is the removal of obstacles and is the most worshipped God. As per Hindu tradition, before commencing any auspicious work, Lord Ganesha should be worshipped. He is an embodiment of knowledge and wisdom. He is worshipped in various forms like Buddhi Ganapati for seeking knowledge, Siddhi Aishwarya Ganapati for procuring wealth, Sankata Nashana Ganapati, the remover of obstacles and Vidya Ganapati, for studies. The presiding deity of Astrology is also Lord Ganesha.

icon1There are various versions of Ganesha’s birth. As per puranas, Ganesha was created by Parvati. As per some versions, Lord Ganesha appeared mysteriously and was discovered by Parvati and Shiva. His family includes his parents Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, brother Lord Subramanya.

As per Kundalini yoga, Lord Ganesha dwells in the basic chakra or first chakra known as Muladhara, which means base, foundation. Lord Ganesha resides permanently in all beings at Muladhara.
Ganesh Chaturti
Lord Ganesh is worshipped during the Bhadrapada month of the lunar calendar. His idol is installed in all public places and prayed for ten days. It ends with the immersion of the idol in the nearest water source.

3. Aishwarya Ganapati Homam : It is usually advised for seeking wealth. Ganesh pooja is done and homam is performed in the name of Aishwarya Ganapti. Usually 1008 namavali japa is done. The rate increases with the more number of japas.

4. Maha Ganapati Homam: Lord Ganesha is worshipped in his eight forms with eight dravyas. Eight pundits perform this Maha Ganapti Homam. The moola mantra japa is recited 1008 X 8 times. Ganapati Atharva Seersha from Upanishad is recited. Later, homa is performed with 1/10th of the number of recitals. The pooja culminates with deeparadhana and poornahuti. This pooja is done in your name and with your specific desire. You can also opt the pooja for a group of people. This homam is very effective in eliminating obstacles and seek overall success in all endeavours.
